During the early morning hours on May 27, 2016, a fatal crash took the life of a female driver. The accident occurred in a rural area, westbound on FM2449. The female driver lost control of her car and veered off the side of the road and hit a tree. The driver was found dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to release the name of the driver so that her family can be notified. The crash is still under investigation, but they believe that weather and alcohol may have played a part in the accident. Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
