How to Prevent Truck Accidents
Of course, in this instance, the police vehicle was investigating an earlier accident, presumably had his lights on, and was well-marked. But what if you had to pull to the side of the road? How do you prevent being hit by a pickup truck? The answer is visibility. While police cruisers have lights, you can create a similar visual effect by using road flares. This should get any driver’s attention that may be passing by. However, it is important to note that drivers under the influence of alcohol may steer towards lights. It is crucial that you stay aware of your surroundings and stay in your vehicle if there is nowhere safe to walk nearby.
