On Tuesday, tragedy struck as a Texas student was killed in a car accident in western Iowa. The student was volunteering on Ben Carson’s presidential campaign when the car he was riding in flipped on the icy road and was struck by another vehicle. Two other volunteers and a campaign staff member were also in the vehicle and were in a hospital being treated for their injuries. Our thoughts are with the student’s family and friends.
