Railroad work is satisfying and meaningful. Unfortunately, it’s also dangerous. Last month, a Union Pacific railroad worker was fatally struck by an oncoming train near Arlington, according to police. Officers were called to the scene near the 800 Block of Stadium Drive, at Globe Life Park. An employee reported another railroad employee was hit by the train. The victim, a gentleman in his 40s who was not named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The detectives who investigated the accident do not suspect foul play. They believe the man was switching train cars on the track when he was struck.
Wrongful Death
An accident such as this is devastating to family and friends. You just cannot predict these things. Most people are left distraught and unsure of how to move forward. Handling the matter with the utmost level of sensitivity is crucial. The right lawyer will help protect your family from further emotional damage, all while fighting vigorously to ensure justice is served.
If you’ve lost a loved one, do not hesitate to call an attorney. Even an accident could be considered wrongful death. And what is the deceased’s family to do without their primary source of income?
An Experienced Attorney
After the death of a loved one, you don’t want to rely on a total stranger. We typically look inwards after a close death. We grieve and focus on the mourning process. When help is offered, it’s sometimes difficult to accept the helping hand.
An attorney is on your side, though. Lawyers receive a bad reputation for the few who are focused on their own gain. That’s not the case for most, though. Find yourself a lawyer who will handle your case with grace and sensitivity.
