Trusted Attorney in McKinney, Texas
Joe represents businesses, families, and individuals in an array of litigation matters ranging from business divorces, partnerships issues, contractual disputes, collections, insurance, personal injury, wrongful death, and a diverse host of other litigation matters. Joe works diligently, aggressively, and relentlessly to not only advance resolution amicably and cost-efficiently, but also strives to keep his clients out of the courtroom and save them money and aggravation by effectively utilizing discovery, motions, technology, and alternative dispute resolution (e.g., mediation). And when adverse parties are unreasonable, forcing Joe’s clients to take their issues to judges and juries, it’s about making it count and sending a very clear message.
We work to level the playing field for our clients, whether plaintiff or defendant. By using a combination of education, training, perseverance, and experience as a trial attorney, coupled with quick access to investigators, our resources, and strategic planning, success can be achieved. To be successful in these areas of practice, Joe must fully develop the facts of the case, have an outstanding working knowledge of the law, be respected by judges (and by adversaries as well), and be a seasoned and creative negotiator to know where, when, and how the best results can be achieved.
I have over three decades of experience in the field of wrongful death, personal injury, insurance, business and personal collections, and general civil litigation, pursuing claims on behalf of plaintiffs. I also have years of expertise defending individuals and companies against meritless, fraudulent, and ridiculous claims and lawsuits.
My challenge continues to be achieving a fair and equitable resolution amicably, expeditiously, and cost-efficiently, minimizing my clients’ time away from work, personal matters, and family, while maximizing results. To this end, I am a strong advocate of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation in appropriate cases.
While I handle large cases, I am just as willing and pleased to work on small to medium size cases. I would welcome an opportunity to serve you.
– Joe Lucé
Joe believes “the primary purpose of the legal profession is to find, recognize, interpret and preserve the truth and advance fairness with respect. To recognize strengths, weaknesses, exposure, and what’s in the best interests of the clients not only short term, but also and critically important, long term. Society thrives only when justice is based on these fundamentals. The integrity of the legal system and its proponents is of vital concern to everyone. The best and only way to serve a client’s interests is with truth, honesty, and candor.”
Joe tells his clients: “I am not hired to tell you what you want to hear. I’m hired to tell you what you need to hear. And sometimes, what you need to hear is not what you want to hear. This kind of guidance is a necessary ingredient for our clients to obtain the best results and achieve a successful outcome amicably, fairly, and cost-efficiently.” Read reviews now.
These are principles adhered to by Joe, and each member of his firm Lucé Law, PC, every day they practice law. Since he began serving as an attorney, Joe has had the objective of providing the highest quality legal service possible, strongly believing that each of us has an obligation to not only preserve, but to improve the quality of life in our community and to “make a difference” in the lives and businesses of others.
Joe has been a longtime volunteer at Lovejoy Elementary School, Sloan Creek Middle School, and Lovejoy High School, and has been an active supporter at the new Lovejoy High School, boosting both educational and sports programs and facilities. Joe considers himself to be blessed beyond words through his marriage of 20 years to his wife Jill, and through his role as a father to their three sons, Jake the “Snake,” “Action” Jackson, Justice “Chochy,” and their one daughter, Jessica “Dolla.” Most of Joe’s spare time is spent on his favorite passion, his family, especially watching their older two boys play collegiate baseball, their third son play high school football and basketball, and their daughter in her music and dance concerts. In addition, Joe enjoys travel with his wife, working out, great food, the beach, and the mountains.
