After a tragic crash on Highway 380 on Sunday, two children are dead and another injured. The crash occurred around 6:30 pm at the intersection of Highway 380 and Mayhill road. Authorities recently released the details of the accident. The children were sitting in a Nissan minivan that was waiting at the red light in the left lane. A Ford F-350 driving negligently fast crashed into the back of the Nissan minivan, propelling it forward into a Dodge Dakota that was in front of them. The force was so strong that it caused the Dakota to hit a car that was waiting in front of it. A 4-year-old boy, 11-year-old girl, and 8-year-old boy were in the backseat of the minivan when it was hit. The children were airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Dallas where the 8-year-old and 11-year-old were both pronounced dead. The 4-year-old is still fighting for his life in critical condition. We are keeping the family and everyone involved in our thoughts.
