One person was killed in a deadly tow truck accident that took place on I-35 West between I-20 and Sycamore School Road. Authorities haven’t released many details regarding the crash. However, it has been published that the tow truck lost control and hit a concrete barrier while towing a car. Unfortunately, one person has died in the accident, and another is injured. It is not known if the person who died was the driver or passenger. Our thoughts are with those who were impacted by this accident.
Tow Truck Accidents
While we expect tow trucks to show up at the scene of an accident, we don’t anticipate them to cause them. Tow truck accidents are extremely common and often fatal. Tow trucks are much more lucrative when they can get to an accident quickly and tow a car or truck back to the lot so they can return to the road. While many tow truck drivers obey the posted speed limit, there are still those who do not. It is these reckless drivers that often cause massive and deadly accidents.
Talk to an Attorney Today
If you have been involved in an accident with a tow truck, it is important that you contact an attorney right away. They will be able to provide you with the correct information and guidance in getting proper compensation for your damages. Without assertive and compassionate representation, the insurance company will try and push you around. They will attempt to pressure you into a settlement that may be much less than you are entitled to. Instead, contact an experienced personal injury attorney and assert your rights.
